The last Bracebridge Street (the original home of Norton) Manx Nortons were sold in 1963 and, even though Norton pulled out of racing in 1954, the Manx became the backbone of privateer racing and is still highly sought-after. In 1994, Andy Molnar of Molnar Precision Limited, a highly respected motorcycle engineer and pilot himself, purchased the rights to the Manx so the legend could live once again.
